Name the actual transformation

Describe the process in ordinary language: original photo and AI-edited concept. Avoid captions that imply a training timeline, a treatment outcome, or a result from a supplement. For example, a weekend action-character experiment is a more accurate description than a thirty-day body transformation when both pictures come from one photograph. Put the explanation next to the image, not only in a profile description that viewers may never open.

Build a fair comparison

Use the same crop, orientation, and display size for both versions. Do not darken the original or stretch the edited image to exaggerate the difference. If you create a carousel, label each frame separately because people can encounter a single shared slide. Keep the source file and a record of which version was published. Those small organizational habits make it easier to answer a question or replace an image whose caption has become detached.

Agree on use before publishing

Ask the pictured person whether they agree to the edit and the intended audience; permission to take a photograph is not the same as permission to reinterpret their body publicly. Offer them the finished version before posting. Avoid presenting an edited physique as evidence in a fitness testimonial or another context where viewers expect an unaltered record. If your purpose requires documentary accuracy, use the original instead. A visible label supports honest sharing, but it does not turn an unsuitable use into a suitable one.

Take it with you

  • Call the result a photo edit, not physical progress.
  • Keep comparison crops and labels consistent.
  • Agree on the edit and its audience with the subject.
